Benefits of Dual Enrollment

Benefits of enrolling in college classes while in high school:

  • Earning credits that can be transferred to college.
  • Saving money by taking the courses prior to college. The student does not have to pay for these college courses.
  • Gaining exposure to a college environment (if taking in-person courses) and college-level learning.

Students who take advantage of the opportunity to dual enroll in college courses often earn as much as a year鈥檚 worth of college classes by the time they finish high school.

Adrian College participates in the Michigan Transfer Agreement, which allows students to seamlessly transfer the听courses they take at other Michigan colleges and universities听to Adrian College.
